Party Curators Philippines (“Party Curators,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides event styling, planning and coordination, and corporate event services across the Philippines through our website partycuratorsphilippines.com (the “Site”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal data directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site, and, in some cases, from third parties involved in planning your event.

a. Information you give us directly
When you reach out for a quote, book our services, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Full name and the names of family members or event honorees (e.g., a child’s name and birthday for a kiddie party)
  • Email address and phone number
  • Event details (date, venue, guest count, theme, budget, special requests)
  • Billing and delivery/venue address
  • Payment-related information (e.g., proof of payment, bank transfer or e-wallet reference numbers). We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed through third-party payment channels or bank transfer.
  • Any other information you choose to share with us through our contact form, “Get Quote” form, email, phone calls, or social media messages

b. Photos and videos
As part of our event styling and coordination services, our team may take photos and videos during setup and at your event. These may feature you, your family, and your guests. We may also receive photos/testimonials you send us afterward.

c. Information collected automatically
When you visit our Site, we (and tools we use, such as website analytics and hosting services) may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring website
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6 below)

d. Information from third parties
If a venue, planner, supplier, or other party you’re coordinating with shares your contact or event details with us to facilitate your booking, we may receive and use that information as described in this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

  1. Respond to inquiries and prepare quotations for our services
  2. Plan, coordinate, style, and deliver your booked event
  3. Communicate with you before, during, and after your event (confirmations, updates, invoices, follow-ups)
  4. Process payments and maintain business and accounting records
  5. Improve our services, Site, and customer experience
  6. Showcase our work — with your consent — in our portfolio, website, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube)
  7. Send you promotional content or updates about our services, where you have consented to receive these
  8. Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
  9. Protect our rights, safety, and property, and prevent fraud or misuse of our services

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on one or more of the following, as required under the Data Privacy Act:

  • Consent — such as when you submit an inquiry form or agree to have your event featured in our portfolio
  • Contract — to perform the services you booked with us
  • Legitimate interest — such as improving our services and Site security
  • Legal obligation — such as complying with tax and business regulations

4. Use of Event Photos and Testimonials

We love sharing the events we curate. Photos, videos, and testimonials from your event may be used in our portfolio, social media pages, and marketing materials.

  • We will seek your consent before publishing photos or videos that clearly identify you, your family, or minors involved in your event.
  • If you would prefer that images from your event not be used publicly, simply let us know in writing (email is fine) before or after your event, and we will honor your request going forward.
  • If you’d like previously published photos of your event removed from our Site or social media, contact us using the details in Section 10 and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Suppliers and partners — such as venues, caterers, photographers, entertainers, or rental suppliers, to the extent necessary to plan and deliver your event
  • Payment processors and banks — to process payments for our services
  • Service providers — such as website hosting, form, and email providers that help us operate the Site
  • Legal and regulatory bodies — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or government request
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations

All third parties who process personal data on our behalf are required to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy Act.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., through website analytics tools, embedded social media widgets from Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, and our website platform) to:

  • Recognize returning visitors
  • Understand how visitors use our Site
  • Improve Site functionality and content

You can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site.

7. Data Storage and Retention

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Policy
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

Booking and transaction records are generally kept for the period required under Philippine tax and business laws. Inquiry details from quotations that do not proceed to a booking may be retained for a reasonable period for follow-up purposes, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, consistent with the requirements of the Data Privacy Act. These include restricting access to personal data to authorized personnel and using secure channels for handling payment-related information.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
